Refund policy

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.

To initiate a return, please contact us at info@maretothethrone.com with your order details and reason for return. All returns must be approved prior to being sent back to us. Items returned without prior authorisation will not be accepted.

If your return request is approved, we will provide return instructions. For change-of-mind returns or incorrect sizing selections, return shipping costs and adequate return packaging are the responsibility of the customer. Customers must ensure items are securely and sufficiently packaged to ensure they arrive back to us safely.

If a return is required due to an error on our part we will cover the cost of return shipping.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon receiving it and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

We cannot accept returns on sale items.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have by contacting us, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item (Depending on stock availability).

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

What happens if my parcel is returned to sender?

If your parcel is returned to us due to missed delivery attempts, failure to collect from your local postal outlet, incorrect address provided at checkout, or not responding to delivery notifications, this is considered outside of our control.

Once your order has been packed correctly, shipped within our stated timeframes, and tracking has been provided, we have fulfilled our obligations as the seller. Responsibility then transfers to the delivery carrier and the customer to ensure successful delivery or collection.

For parcels returned to us in these circumstances:

  • Refunds will not be issued for the order or original shipping costs.

  • We are happy to resend your order once it has safely arrived back with us.

  • Reshipping costs will need to be paid prior to dispatch.

We recommend keeping an eye on your tracking updates and contacting the delivery carrier directly if you miss a delivery or need to arrange collection.
